A train door, now that’s different. The bank door is amazing!

Thanks, Vera. I enjoyed the one hour train journey from where I was staying into Dublin. I even made a friend on the train.

My home country! I am in Cork though, not Dublin! Have you ever been?

I didn’t get to Cork this time. Perhaps the next time. It was my first time in Ireland. Loved it.

Glad you had a fun time, while visiting Ireland, Cork and Kerri. You should visit both they are stunning. 🌺🌺

I really like Dublin too. Did you go to any coastal towns? They are beautiful too. GOOD NEWS: I made a request for your Amanda books at our library. A bit of a process, it has to be done online. The keyboard at the library wasn’t working, it had a mind of its own, type one thing, see something else. LOL Anyhow, let’s see what happens. ❤

I did visit the countryside which was amazing. More to come. Thanks for trying to get my books into your library. That is awesome. Let me know if it works. xo

It will probably take a while, but I will keep checking when I am doing other book searches. 🙂

There’s something about old doors that newish doors never have. Beautiful selection.

I agree. There is something magical about old doors.

love these.. the Guinness the best.. lol

Glad you like these doors. I’m not a beer drinker so didn’t try the Guinness. I did have an Irish Coffee though which was wonderful!!

wonderful for sure… me neither hahaha and Guinness would be too strong for me but they were fun doors. An irish coffee would be more up my alley too! 😍

A good range of doors as a taster

When we visited Dublin, we focused on the literary spots and on Trinity College museum and the Book of Kells. Thanks for selecting unique doors here, Darlene.

Same here! It is such a literary city. There will be many more posts abut the special things I saw and did.

Thanks for that taste of Dublin. I’m looking forward to more.

Thanks, Anne. Dealing with some family stuff right now but there will be more!

These are wonderful doors, Darlene. Thanks for including the train door. I always like seeing those.

Glad you like the doors I featured this week. I thought the train door would be fun.

Absolutely fabulous doors, Darlene! Thank you! Looking forward to hearing about the trip.

Pleased you liked the doors, Jennie. Watch this space!

These doors take the prize, particularly the bank door!

Thanks, Liz. That bank door just blew me away. I was rushing for my appointment to view the Book of Kells but had to stop and take a picture.

You’re welcome, Darlene. I’m glad you did!

These doors are fantastic, Darlene. And that Guinness door…how fun is that?!!

I loved that Guinness door too. Glad you enjoyed this collection of doors, Donna.

Ireland is one of those places I’ve always wanted to visit. Your Dublin doors are amazing, especially the bank door. Wow!

It had been on my list for a long time. So glad it finally happened. You would love it.

Wow, tons of character. Hope to see them one day.

The city is full of character, Rebecca. I do hope you get there one day. It took me a long time. xo

Fantastic photos, Darlene! I will be in Ireland in two weeks and look forward to seeing everything I possibly can!

You will love it!! I sure did. xo

Gorgeous doors, Darlene 🙂

Thanks, Denise. Glad you like them.

Hi Darlene, thanks for sharing these wonderful picture of Dublin.

Dublin was amazing, Robbie. So pleased you liked the doors!

Wow, all the doors are gorgeous, even the door for a bank! I love all of them, Darlene! My daughter and her hubby visited Ireland and toured the Guinness brewery.

There were so many great doors in Dublin. I’m sure your daughter enjoyed Dublin as much as I did. I didn’t get to the brewery but I hear it is interesting.

Your Dublin door collection was definitely most interesting to see this morning.

Glad you enjoyed them, Ruth!

Beautiful doors, Darlene. I’ve never seen such a lovely door to a bank. 🙂

Thanks, Lauren. The insides of some of the banks were amazing too. Of course I was not allowed to take pictures inside. Darn.

Too bad! I used to work in the banking industry, and I don’t remember any of those doors to be as gorgeous as these. 🙂

I am glad to see you went to St. Stephen’s Green. I like that park.

It was so lovely and full of history too.

Lovely set of doors. This makes me want to visit Dublin even more now.

It is a great city. You would love it.

I really like the teal one with the three half circles above the door and windows. (K)

I love that one too. Thanks for stopping by.

I have never been to Dublin or anywhere in Ireland #ssp267

This was my first trip to Ireland. I hope it won’t be the last. I loved it!!

Hi Darlene, these impressive doors put our house doors to shame! They’re beautiful. And I like that you included a modern train door – it’s a pretty color!

The doors were very impressive. There were many green doors too but I thought that would be too obvious.

You captured some stunning doors! Great post and thanks for sharing!! Dublin architecture looks awesome!

The architecture in Dublin was amazing and quite eclectic. I am always drawn to doors wherever I go.

The museum door appeals to my sense of fantasy, Darlene, but anything old also captures my attention. Thanks for the short trip to Dublin!

I loved that museum door with the interesting details. Glad you enjoyed the visit with me. xo

Magnificent doors, Darlene – a very dignified city

Dublin is a great mix of fun, history, knowledge and literature. There is something for everyone there.

A beautiful peek at some of the architecture. How gorgeous! 🙂 xx

Thanks, Debby. I loved the variety of architecture in Dublin. xo

These are beautiful doors which are works of art. xxx

Oh wow, Darlene! So many doors, so many stories I am sure. I have always thought that Ireland was a place I would one day love to visit. Some of my ancestors came to Nova Scotia from Ireland during the potato famine. Looking forward to reading about your adventures. 🙂

You would definitely love it there Laura. Many Irish immigrants came to Canada and settled in the Maritime provinces. They brought their friendly hospitable culture with them. Glad you liked these doors.

Dublin has such beautiful doors

They were fascinating!
