Wonderful, Darlene, going over to finish reading.

Thanks, Robbie. Sally had such fun questions to answer.

I enjoyed reading that, Darlene. 🙂

I love that song too, Darlene. It is happy and I worship the sunshine. I am sure your Dad is still singing it for you somewhere in this vast Universe.
I would also safe my dog above anything else. ❤

Yes, you and I are sun lovers so it makes sense we would both love this song! And we both love our doggies so much!! ❤

What an interesting interview. It would be fascinating to hear what Dot has to say, and you make some excellent points about Wonder Woman. I used to love watching that show as a child. The song you chose is a lovely memory of your dad. It always reminds me of the Muppets. I seem to remember Kermit singing it to Miss Piggy.

I forgot about Kermit singing the song to Miss Piggy. A great way to keep the song alive for the next generations. Glad you enjoyed the interview!

I love reading the backstory behind authors. Very nice, Darlene!

Hopping over now to finish reading and find out more about the wonderful Darlene! 🙂

Thanks for your wonderful comments! xo

I enjoyed the interview. I love your song choice as an adult — my hubby sings it to me and brings me a daisy. One is sitting near me right now. I love that you had a plan for saving your books if there was a fire. Learned some more new things about you!

That song is timeless and your hubby is a gem. There is always something new to learn about me!!

I loved that interview and those questions! You Are My Sunshine makes me cry every time I sing it to this day. Perhaps it brings back early memories too. I love your blog and your travels and I need to buy your books for my grandson. He would learn so much first hand.

I know, it is such a happy song but brings tears to our eyes. I hope your grandson enjoys Amanda’s adventures. Young boys seem to like the books and we have many girl and boy fans. Thanks for stopping by.
